The Italian startup Atooma is the winner of Telekom Innovation Contest 2014. At the final event, the Champions Pitch in Cracow, they convinced the jury with their IoT solution. By creating connections between apps and smart devices to make them able to perform automatic smart actions, Atooma adds unique possibilities to the Internet of Things. Within the last year, the company grew in several aspects.

In April 2015, they closed a successful funding round with nearly 600,000 Euro from two investors. This achievement allowed Atooma to enlarge the team, and currently seven specialists are working in the headquarter in Rome.

2015 marked a turning point considering Atooma’s product portfolio – from a consumer approach a business-to-business one. In November, they launched their first B2B product: Resonance A.I. This white label SDK builds in a simple and fast way products for the IoT industry. It listens from multiple resources, learns from user behaviour and reacts accordingly.

Resonance A.I. is able to LISTEN from multiple sources, LEARN from user behavior and reACT accordingly.

The year 2015 finished off with the Slush conference in Helsinki, where Atooma has been shortlisted for the Slush 100. This worldwide pitching competition brings 100 of the best seed-stage companies on stage in Helsinki.

To foster the team and get additional support, they recently entered the INCENSe acceleration program. This is one of the 16 Future Internet Accelerators from the FIWARE Programme, funded by the European Commission.

Also, Atooma entered the EGO program, which is run by Ericsson in Italia, and have been awarded as the best startup.
